Shekinah is one of the most intriguing Hebrew words. The word is not found in the Bible, but was created by Rabbi’s to describe a moment when God’s glory settles and stays. It is a word that not only describes a holy habitation but a visible presence of God which accompanies.
“Kabod” is glory you can feel. “Shekinah” is glory you can see.
